Days #15 #16 & #17

Day 15's sketch is a variety of lamps. Whilst painting I was watching Pixar: 25 Magic Moments (sooo good!) so this sketch is probably the result of seeing the iconic Pixar lamp and watching children's animation. I used watercolour paints and a fineliner on brown paper;

Day 16's sketch was inspired by a visit to the beach on a cloudy day. I used simple white watercolour paint with black fine liner on brown paper;

Day 17's sketch was a kingfisher- just because I love the colours!

A pattern inspired by a snap I took of Pimm's cocktails from a night out with the girls, I used coloured pencils, felt tips and a fineliner;

Day #9

A big plus of living in south wales is being close to both Mountains/forests/the countryside and the beach, you never have to go too far for inspiration.

For day 9's sketch I went for a walk up the mountain opposite my house to find a subject;

Inspired by my photo's I used an inky pen, and brown coloured pencils on brown paper to create this simplistic, natural pattern;
